"Amadé in spe" - music students give a concert at Villa Esche
For the 11th time, young artists, highly talented and specially sponsored music students as well as prizewinners and participants of the "Jugend musiziert" competition will be performing at Villa Esche on 4 June at 6 pm.
Music builds bridges and connects. It touches and moves. At the beginning of June, generations will come together at the Jugendstilvilla Esche to listen to the music of our young talents. Sponsored music students as well as prizewinners and participants of the "Jugend musiziert" competition will present a musically refreshing programme.
The young artists will surprise you with pieces by great composers from past eras as well as contemporary compositions. From Wolfgang Amadé Mozart and the Viennese Classical period to Romantic composers such as Johannes Brahms and Carl Maria von Weber, the evening will lead musically into the 20th century with pieces by James Curnow and Eduard Pütz.
The concert is organised by the Sächsische Mozartgesellschaft in cooperation with the Städtische Musikschule Chemnitz and the Villa Esche.
Admission: 12 euros, concessions 8 euros. Children under the age of ten are admitted free of charge.
