Altchemnitzer Straße roundabout to be repaired
Construction starts on 7 November - intersection closed until 18 November
Work to repair the roundabout on Altchemnitzer Straße/Reichenhainer Straße will begin on Monday, 7 November. As part of the work, the damaged pavement in the inner ring road will be replaced with a three-layer asphalt surface and warranty damage will be repaired.
Due to the work, the junction will be fully closed until 18 November 2022 inclusive. During this period, motorised individual and cycle traffic will be diverted via Annaberger Straße, Reichsstraße, Bernsdorfer Straße and Lutherstraße. Pedestrians will be guided past the construction site.
At the same time, Annaberger Straße between Treffurthstraße and Gustav-Freytag-Straße will be open to traffic again from Sunday evening, 6 November.
