All-day warning strike announced for Thursday (27 March) - City of Chemnitz ensures care in daycare centres and after-school care centres on strike
For Thursday, 27 March 2014, the service trade union has announced all-day warning strikes in the public sector in the area of daycare centres and after-school care centres in Chemnitz. Parents will be informed yesterday and today when picking up their children at the facilities affected by the strike.
The Office for Youth and Family of the City of Chemnitz has prepared emergency childcare due to the strike announcement: In urgent cases, children from daycare centres affected by the strike will be taken in and cared for in another, nearby facility from 6 am.
This option is reserved in particular for working parents who do not have any other childcare options than their usual daycare centre or after-school care on this Thursday.
