Aino Louhi from the Finnish twin city Tampere will be Artist in Residence in Chemnitz in October
The second decision has now been made for the EUROCITIES artist exchange project Artist in Residence Chemnitz-Tampere 2013: After the Chemnitz jury, chaired by Prof Jörg Steinbach, selected the young Chemnitz artist Lydia Thomas for the study visit to the Finnish twin city of Tampere in November (PM 434 from 05.07.2013 - www.chemnitz.de), the Cultural Office of the City of Chemnitz received the news from Tampere that the artist Aino Louhi (photo) will be Artist in Residence in Chemnitz in October 2013.
The Cultural Office of the City of Chemnitz is currently in contact with Aino Louhi. Together with the Chemnitz art association Laterne, the Cultural Office is preparing the artist's stay in Chemnitz.
