After-school care only possible to a limited extent
Due to many enquiries, the Youth Welfare Office is providing information on the care of primary school children in after-school care, which can only be offered to a limited extent due to the corona-related requirements of the general decree regulating the operation of child daycare facilities and schools.
Individual solutions are currently being worked on. Individual agreements between specific schools and after-school care centres are also not ruled out and are already underway.
Due to the strict hygiene regulations, it is not possible to mix children, even during early and late working hours. This poses enormous challenges for the centres.
As the children have to be looked after in their designated groups, support from other facilities is also not possible.
On Monday, 18 May, affected parents will bring their children to school at the times announced by the primary school. There they will find out on the spot whether an after-school care programme has been set up for the following days.
