Aerial photography with the multicopter

Adult education centre: Course on 20 September, 10 a.m. to 1.15 p.m., TIETZ, course room 4.62

On Saturday, 20 September, from 10 am to 1.15 pm, in course room 4.62 at the TIETZ, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre is offering a compact course on the safe use of drones, also known as multicopters. In addition to the use of drones for impressive landscape shots, cityscapes and other creative projects, the course also covers the basics of legal and technical aspects.

Participation costs 23.30 euros. Registrations are possible until 15 September 2025 online under the link to the course or by telephone on 0371 488 4343.

The course instructor Jörg Vogel is a professional multicopter pilot and presents his own aerial photographs of Chemnitz, Saxony and the whole of Germany. He will explain the essential steps for preparing your own aerial photographs and realising them within the framework of the applicable legal regulations.

In addition to an introduction to the European Drone Regulation, the course deals with specific questions of photography law, freedom of panorama and personal rights when depicting people and properties. The legal limits on the publication of aerial images - for example in social media - are also clearly explained.
