Adult education centre programme booklet to be published on Monday
VHS "Market Day" on Thursday, 10 February, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Neumarkt
The new Chemnitz Adult Education Centre programme for the 2022 summer semester will be published on Monday, 7 February. On this day, the semester catalogue will be available from 10 a.m. at the VHS service counter and in the foyer of the TIETZ. The freshly printed programme will also be presented on Thursday, 10 February, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the traditional "Market Day" of the adult education team at Chemnitz Neumarkt.
On a total of 288 pages, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre presents its programme for the coming summer semester from 7 March to 11 September 2022 in its new complete catalogue. More than 500 courses from six subject areas are waiting to be discovered, booked and attended.
In terms of content, the adult education centre has put together a very diverse programme for the summer semester. In addition to lectures on controversial social topics, the programme includes art excursions, foreign language courses and much more. There is a particular focus on media skills, ecological education and healthy living.
As in previous semesters, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre continues to focus on flexible teaching methods. This includes traditional face-to-face courses, purely online events and so-called alternating courses, which can take place both in the real classroom and, if required, in the virtual classroom. Hybrid teaching solutions are also being tested. These are designed to enable online participation in face-to-face courses.
