Additional leisure activities during the summer holidays
Catching up after Corona: registrations now possible
Once again, Chemnitz sports clubs are offering all children and young people from Chemnitz sporting activities for the upcoming summer holidays. These offers are part of the "Catching up after Corona" programme and are aimed at all young people from Chemnitz, over and above their actual membership of the club. The aim is to create additional sports leisure activities in light of the coronavirus pandemic. For this reason, the Chemnitz City Sports Association and its sports youth organisation, in coordination with the City of Chemnitz's sports department, had advertised this to Chemnitz sports clubs.
As a result, many clubs took part with playground activities, numerous taster sessions, leisure camps and after-school programmes. These offers are publicised on the homepage of the Chemnitz City Sports Association and on the City of Chemnitz website at www.chemnitz.de/sportangebote.

For all participants and sports clubs, the use of the municipal sports facilities for the additional holiday offers is free of charge. Participation fees may be set by the organisers themselves.
