Accident on Neefestraße requires urgent repairs
Work will take place in the night from 25 to 26 October with half-sided closures
From 7 pm on Wednesday 25 October until 5 am on Thursday 26 October, one side of Neefestraße will be closed at the exit to Neefepark/Gewerbegebiet Clemens-Winkler-Straße. The reason for this is a badly damaged and sunken manhole cover. Due to the risk of accidents and to prevent even greater damage, action must be taken immediately.
During this time, traffic will be diverted past the bottleneck with traffic lights. Access to and from Neefepark is guaranteed at all times.
Due to the importance of Neefestraße and the impact on traffic, the accident will be repaired during the night. Construction work will take place in the first few hours from 7 p.m., while in the following hours until 5 a.m. the asphalt that has been laid must harden before the road can be opened to traffic.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to start repairing the damage at a later time due to the temporary storage of the asphalt in thermal containers.
