A72 Rottluff junction partially closed from 4 December
On Wednesday, 4 December, work will begin on the installation of a stationary traffic light system on Kalkstraße for the A72 on and off ramp, Rottluff junction. This will replace the temporary traffic lights currently in place.
During the construction period, the slip road from Kalkstraße onto the A72 motorway in the direction of Leipzig will be fully closed. It will also not be possible to exit the A72 from the direction of Hof onto Kalkstraße. Traffic will be diverted via the neighbouring junctions.
The construction project includes the following work:
- Construction of seven pylon foundations including civil engineering for pipe connections and the technical system
- Installation of the new control unit
- Construction of nine induction loops
- Marking work
The traffic restrictions are scheduled to last until 21 December 2019.
