A look behind the scenes at the zoo
Guided tour on the Day of Prayer and Repentance, 20 November, 1 pm,
On Wednesday, 20 November - the Day of Prayer and Repentance in Saxony - Chemnitz Zoo invites you to a guided tour with a look behind the scenes. Starting time is 1 pm. The tour lasts approx. 90 minutes. Please book in advance (at tierpark@st adt-chemnitz.de or 0371/850028). Participation costs ten euros per person (including admission) and is limited to 15 people (minimum age ten years). The meeting point is behind the ticket office at the zoo entrance.
Want to get to know the zoo in a different way? This is possible with a "look behind the scenes". During this guided tour by Jan Klösters, you will gain an insight into the working world of the zoo, receive information about operating procedures and can look into areas of the zoo that you are not normally allowed to enter. The zoo school will also be visited on this tour. This is otherwise only accessible to school classes and other educational institutions.
