On Saturday 14 November at 3.30 pm, children who are interested, along with their parents and grandparents, are invited to a special guided tour of the zoo. To mark St Martin’s Day, a lantern walk will take visitors into the fascinating world of the animals at dusk (duration: approx. 90 minutes).
Participation (including admission) costs 10 euros per person. As places are limited, registration is required by 13 November via email to tierpark(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
Tickets can be purchased at the zoo ticket office during regular opening hours once registration has been confirmed. (Cancellations are not permitted. Dogs are also not permitted.)
The lantern tour is a special experience for the whole family, combining wildlife watching and a nature experience in an atmospheric setting. Please bring your own lanterns. To ensure the safety of both people and animals, only LED lights or battery-operated candles may be used. You are also welcome to bring torches.
