A journey through Bertolt Brecht's works

On Thursday 17 May at 7 pm, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to a reading on Bertolt Brecht. Prof Dr Bernadette Malinowski and Dr Christoph Grube, both from Chemnitz University of Technology, will be commenting on Brecht's works in the TIETZ event hall. Admission costs 8 euros.
Bertolt Brecht is considered one of the most important poets and playwrights of the 20th century.
As a questioner and doubter, lover and accuser, as a master of poetic self-dramatisation and poet of social and political commitment, his poems lend an unmistakable voice to mankind in all his facets.
Prof. Dr Bernadette Malinowski (literary scholar) and Dr Christoph Grube (Germanist and speaker) will take you on a journey through the most beautiful and powerful poems and introduce you to the most important thematic and aesthetic stages of the Augsburg poet Brecht.
