Next Thursday, 1 March 2018, 6 p.m., the exhibition "A glimpse of the future - the magic of the unknown" will open in the VHS Gallery on the
4th floor of the TIETZ, the exhibition "A glimpse into the future - the magic of the unknown" will open. All interested parties are cordially invited to the vernissage with musical accompaniment. Admission is free of charge. The exhibition can be seen until 5 April 2018 during the opening hours of the adult education centre from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 9 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm.
Dreaming about the future is probably part of human nature - as long as we exist. What comes after me? What will the world look like in a hundred or a thousand years? Countless utopian novels and films have tried to find answers to these questions.
In Bernd Maischack's adult education course "A glimpse into the future - the magic of the unknown", very personal, individual visions of the future of the course participants have been translated into pictures, using various artistic means of expression - from simple pencil drawings to elaborate collages.
