9th edition of the city's holiday calendar available from Monday
From Monday (30. This year's holiday calendar is available to take away free of charge: the handy, 136-page booklet is available at the traditional distribution points: in the information desks in the foyers of the town hall on the market, in the Moritzhof community and administration centre and in the Am Wall community centre as well as in the tourist information centre, in the CVAG mobility centre and in the TIETZ building at City-Ticket.
The launch of the holiday calendar, which has been published annually by the City of Chemnitz under the auspices of the Office for Youth and Family Affairs for the past nine years, is also a sure sign that the summer school holidays are not far off. The ninth edition offers more than 400 events and over 60 travel and camp offers for the period from 21 July to 29 August. In addition, 142 vouchers can be used for discounts. As always, it's best to pick up a copy on Monday and take a look - and please note the registration deadlines.

Our holiday calendar is therefore a good way to plan a great holiday time with friends or family or simply to go off on the spur of the moment. As with the previous editions of the City of Chemnitz holiday calendar, this year's edition also includes a wide range of activities for almost all areas of interest for children and young people: Organisers ensure that fun, variety, excitement, adventure and interesting facts as well as lots of sport and games are on the holiday agenda for six to 16-year-olds. The 9th holiday calendar was also published with a print run of 5,300 copies.
