75 years of marriage - Hildegart and Walter Göhler
Congratulations on the special anniversary of your marriage on 30 May 2013
When Hildegart and Walter Göhler take their usual walk in the Flemming area, they enjoy the green splendour that has now blossomed just in time for their 75th wedding anniversary. They fondly remember their allotment garden in the "Zwiebel" in Siegmar, which their daughter Hannelore has since taken over. Walter Göhler loved working at the lathe and making their home cosy with his craftsmanship. Hildegart Göhler, on the other hand, has always loved needlework and still enjoys knitting today.
Family life has always been important to the couple. Daughter Hannelore and son Volker remember a wonderful childhood. Her mother gave up her job as a cashier at the glove factory in Rabenstein in 1945 to look after the family. Walter Göhler initially worked in his trained profession as a locksmith at Elite Diamant in Siegmar, and later as a driver at VEB Industriewerk Karl-Marx-Stadt, which he particularly enjoyed.
In the meantime, the family has grown considerably: in addition to his own children, there are five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, who will hopefully all come to Hildegart and Walter Göhler's big anniversary. A family outing is planned.
