6th Citizens' Forum of the Chemnitz Centre-West Citizens' Platform
The members of the steering group of the Chemnitz Mitte-West Citizens' Platform invite you to the 6th Citizens' Forum of the volunteer committee on Monday, 4 May at 5 pm in the rooms of the Citizens' Centre at Leipziger Straße 39 - interested parties are cordially invited to attend. The community centre can be reached by public transport to the Ludwigstraße stop (bus route 21).
Residents, members of associations and initiatives, tradespeople and other committed individuals from the neighbourhoods of Schloßchemnitz, Kaßberg and Altendorf have been working together in the Citizens' Platform for the Chemnitz Mitte-West district since 2012. Together with representatives of the City of Chemnitz, topics that are of concern to citizens in the area will be discussed on 4 May.
Topics at Monday's event will include information on current citizen concerns, such as the playgrounds at Luisenplatz and Andréplatz, the Parcours Park and the football pitch at Konkordiapark. Information on green space maintenance will be provided and the future of the "old railway site" between Paul-Jäkel-Straße and Rudolf-Krahl-Straße will be discussed. Finally, there will be an opportunity for an open public discussion on topics relevant to the neighbourhood.
