4th integration fair in Chemnitz
3 June 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Chamber Hall of the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Straße der Nationen 25, 09111 Chemnitz)
Over the past three years, the Migration, Integration and Housing Department of the City of Chemnitz Social Welfare Office and DC DuvierConsult Gesellschaft für Beratung, Projektmanagement und Studien mbH have jointly organised three successful integration fairs in Chemnitz. Due to the response from visitors and exhibitors, this year's integration fair will take place in the Chemnitz Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the first time.
The fair attracts a wide range of providers from the fields of business, administration, language promotion and civil society. Once again, around 40 exhibitors and 500 visitors are expected to attend. The focus is on facilitating access to the labour market for migrants in Chemnitz and promoting integration.
Against the backdrop of the ongoing debate about asylum seekers and refugees, offers from society are becoming increasingly important. This is why Petra Köpping, Saxon State Minister for Equality and Integration, and Geert Mackenroth, Saxon Commissioner for Foreigners, will be visiting the fair. In addition to the wide range of information for migrants, specialist lectures and job application coaching sessions will once again be on offer.
The integration fair will take place on 3 June 2015 from 10 am to 2 pm in the Chamber Hall of the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Straße der Nationen 25, 09111 Chemnitz).
The fair will be opened at 10 a.m. by Petra Köpping (Saxon State Minister for Equality and Integration), Angelika Hugel (Chairwoman of the Management Board of the Chemnitz Employment Agency)Chemnitz Employment Agency), Cornelia Utech (Head of the City of Chemnitz Social Welfare Office), Gunnar Bertram (President of the Chemnitz Region Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and Jan Röhrer (DC DuvierConsult Gesellschaft für Beratung, Projektmanagement und Studien mbH).
