450,000 euros to be invested: Sewer construction and road surface repairs on Helbersdorfer Straße
Traffic authority asks for attention to the traffic restrictions between Scheffelstraße and Wenzel-Verner-Straße from Monday, 21 July
As part of the sewer construction work on Helbersdorfer Straße and the simultaneous renovation of the road surface, traffic restrictions will be necessary in the section between Scheffelstraße and Wenzel-Verner-Straße from Monday, 21 July. The work should be completed by the end of October 2014.
The Chemnitz-based company Gunter Hüttner + Co. GmbH has been commissioned with the construction work. The anticipated construction costs amount to 450,000 euros.
The construction work will be carried out in sections. During the sewer work, traffic travelling in a landward direction via Helbersdorfer Straße will be closed. A diversion will be set up via Wenzel-Verner-Straße/Stollberger Straße/Scheffelstraße for traffic travelling towards the countryside. Traffic travelling towards the city will be diverted past the construction site.
The footpaths in the construction area can also be used by pedestrians without restriction during the construction work.
Please note: During the roadworks, Helbersdorfer Straße will have to be closed in both directions - the date for the necessary full closure and the diversion to be set up at the same time will be published separately.
