3rd Security Conference of the Crime Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz
Invitation for media representatives on 15 November, 3.30 pm
On Wednesday, 15 November 2017, 3.30 pm, the third security conference of the Crime Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz on the topic of order and security in Chemnitz will take place in the Bürgerhaus am Wall, Düsseldorfer Platz1, 4th floor, training room.
Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
In 2017, two security conferences were held to discuss the topics of security and order in Chemnitz, particularly in the city centre. The City of Chemnitz and the Chemnitz Police Department presented planned measures to improve the sense of security. As part of the third security conference, the Chemnitz Police Directorate and the City of Chemnitz will report on the measures implemented.
Police Chief Uwe Reißmann and Mayor Miko Runkel will present the current state of affairs, current crime trends and the effects of prevention and intervention measures. Organisers of events in the city centre, such as the Park Summer, will report on their experiences. There will also be up-to-date information on the planned video surveillance in the city centre and a brief overview of the work of the City of Chemnitz Crime Prevention Council.
The event is being organised in cooperation with the Institut für Beratung, Begleitung und Bildung e.V. (Institute for Counselling, Support and Education).
