3rd Chemnitz New Year's Concert
Performers from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School play in favour of promoting young talent
Under the patronage of Minister of Culture Brunhild Kurth, pupils from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and musicians from Studio WM Chemnitz will be performing works by the greatest classical composers as well as excerpts from the great world of musicals at the 3rd Chemnitz New Year's Concert on 8 January 2016 at 6 pm in the Kreuzkirche, Henriettenstraße 36. Tickets for this melodious event are available for 10 euros at the Kreuzkirche box office. Admission begins at 17:30.
The proceeds will be donated to the promotion of young musical talent in the city of Chemnitz. The highlight of this year's concert is the solo performance by Syrian singer Sara Al Agha.
The charity concert is presented by the Chemnitz LIONS Clubs.
