25th Days of Jewish Culture - Israeli ambassador as guest Invitation to the photo session on 29 February, 2.45 p.m. in the town hall
The 25th Days of Jewish Culture will take place in Chemnitz from 27 February to 13 March 2016. The Ambassador of the State of Israel, Yakov Hadas-Handelsman, is taking this opportunity to visit the city of Chemnitz on 29 February.
A varied programme has been prepared for the ambassador. Mayor Barbara Ludwig will welcome the ambassador for a discussion in the town hall. Hadas-Handelsman will then visit the Chemnitz State Museum of Archaeology (smac) and tour the Tietz cultural department stores' and the Gunzenhauser Museum. In the evening, the ambassador will give a lecture on the 25th Days of Jewish Culture on relations between Israel and Germany at the Jewish Community Centre.
During the visit, on 29 February, representatives of the media are cordially invited to a photo opportunity in the town hall. The photo opportunity is at 2.45 pm. Accreditation is required in advance for the event. All interested media representatives are requested to send their registration (attached) for the photo session to the press office of the City of Chemnitz by email (pressestelle@stadt-chemnitz.de) by 3 pm on 22 February.
Unfortunately, subsequent requests for accreditation cannot be considered.
