16th concert "Amadé in spe"
Municipal Music School: International concert on 29 June, 6 p.m., Villa Esche
On Wednesday 29 June at 6 pm, the Municipal Music School and the Saxon Mozart Society invite you to the international concert "Amadé in spe" at Villa Esche, Parkstraße 58.
Admission costs 12 euros, concessions 8 euros. Children under the age of ten are admitted free of charge. Registration is requested. Tickets can be purchased at www.mozart-sachsen.de/termine-tickets or by calling 0371 6949444.
Young and talented music students from Chemnitz, Chomutov in the Czech Republic and Lviv in Ukraine as well as prizewinners of the "Jugend musiziert" competition will present a musically refreshing programme in the Jugendstilvilla Esche. They show the audience that music connects, touches and moves.
The young artists will surprise the audience with pieces by great composers from past eras, but also with contemporary compositions. This year, concertgoers can expect a varied programme with compositions from all over Europe: Ukraine, Spain, England, Germany and Poland.
"Amadé in spe" is a joint event organised by the Städtische Musikschule Chemnitz and the Sächsische Mozart-Gesellschaft e. V., supported by Villa Esche. This is the 16th edition.
