The City Library invites media representatives to a press breakfast on Thursday, 16 May at 10 a.m. in the TIETZ, room 3.29 (3rd floor next to the former TIETZ café).
2 July 2019 marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of Chemnitz City Library.
This is an occasion to look back on the milestones of its 150-year history, reflect on the present and take a look into the future.
The highlights of the celebratory programme of literature, music, exhibitions and lectures as well as a new brochure "Milestone 1869 - 2019" will also be presented.
