14th neighbourhood festival at Luisenplatz

On Saturday, 12 September from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Next Saturday, for the 14th time, residents, associations, institutions, tradespeople, schools and other interested parties will be presenting themselves with many entertaining and informative offers at around 30 stands at the district festival on Luisenplatz. Active people from the districts of Schloßchemnitz, Kaßberg and Altendorf will be present under the motto "Welcome to the colourful family festival in Mitte - West".

From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the meadow will become a colourful playground. Among the many activities on offer, such as games of skill for body and mind, pony rides, tiger duck rodeo, bouncy couch, couch lounge, slackline/climbing station, face painting, glitter tattoos, African wood art, jewellery stands, fortunecks wheel, various sports and big games, numerous creative offers, all kinds of culinary delicacies from the international cuisine but also good food from the barbecue, waffles, popcorn and candy floss and much more, everyone is sure to find their own personal highlight.

There will be a theatre performance by the Küchwaldbühne (3.30 pm) and a brass band will play live music (4.30 pm). Magic (from 2.30 pm), clowning and traditional dancing will round off the day in the marquee.

Once again this year, the main organisation has been taken over by the neighbourhood management "Stadteingang" and the community centre Leipziger Straße 39 under the sponsorship of Neue Arbeit Chemnitz e.V..
