14th Chemnitz Reading Advent - podcast series in four episodes
Start on 2 December with Hartwig Albiro
The long-standing series of events Chemnitzer Leseadvent will be available as a podcast for the first time this year. Personalities from Chemnitz will read texts on the topic of arrival and Advent and will be interviewed by Pastor Stephan Tischendorf about themselves and their current projects. The talks will be accompanied by music from pupils of the Municipal Music School.
The Reading Advent starts with Hartwig Albiro, director and drama director at the Schauspielhaus Karl-Marx-Stadt/Chemnitz from 1971 to 1996, who celebrates his 90th birthday on 9 December.
The first of four episodes will be published on www.stadtbibliothek-chemnitz.de from Thursday, 2 December and will be available there until 31 December.

- 9 December, with Janice Schmelzer, student. She was awarded the Chemnitz Peace Prize for Children and Young People for her homeless project "Rosalie the Piggy Bank".
- 16 December, with Nancy Gibson, Head of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School
- 23 December, with Corinna Meinel, Head of the Chemnitz City Library
The Chemnitz Reading Advent is a joint project of the Evangelical Forum and Chemnitz City Library in cooperation with Radio T e. V. and the Municipal Music School.
