14th Chemnitz company run on Wednesday
Traffic restrictions to safeguard the event
Thousands of running enthusiasts are expected to take part in the 14th Chemnitz company run on Wednesday, 4 September 2019. The organisers are expecting around 10,000 participants and are hoping for a corresponding number of visitors. The starting signal will be given from 6 pm on Hartmannplatz.
The car park opposite the police headquarters will be closed from 6 a.m. on 4 September to secure the set-up work. Hartmannstraße will be fully closed between Schloßstraße/Fabrikstraße and Kaßbergstraße/Bergstraße from 3 pm. According to the attached map, the running route will be completely closed from 4 pm to approx. 9 pm. The event will be secured by the Chemnitz Police Department with operational measures.
For safety reasons, please observe the stopping restrictions along the running route and the instructions of the stewards.
Participants and visitors to the event are requested to use the city centre car parks and public transport.
CVAG will announce any changes to bus and train services separately.
