11th Chemnitz company run on Wednesday
Traffic restrictions to safeguard the event
Thousands of running enthusiasts are expected to take part in the 11th Chemnitz company run next Wednesday, 7 September 2016. The organiser is expecting around 7,000 participants and is hoping for corresponding visitor numbers.
Due to the ever-increasing number of visitors and participants, both the start and finish area and the running route have changed.
For the first time, the start and finish area will be located on Hartmannplatz (start at 6.30 pm).
The route is as follows:
Hartmannstraße - Bergstraße - Schloßteichstraße - Promenadenstraße - Theunertstraße - Schloßstraße - Arndtstraße - Arndtplatz - Georgstraße - Mühlenstraße - pavements Stumpf Brückenstraße - Theaterstraße - Hartmannstraße - An der Markthalle - Fabrikstraße - Hartmannstraße
According to the attached map, the route will be completely closed on 7 September 2016 from
17 to 21 o'clock completely closed. The event will be secured by the Chemnitz Police Department with operational measures.
For safety reasons, we kindly ask you to observe the stopping restrictions along the running route as well as the instructions of the stewards.
Participants and visitors to the event are also requested to use the city centre car parks and public transport.
CVAG will announce any changes to bus and train services separately.
