10th Chemnitz City Run - Visitors to the sports event please note temporary road closures in the city centre

Information from the traffic authorities: The city's traffic authority asks visitors to the sporting event and all other road users to observe the temporary closures necessary for the 10th Chemnitz City Run. The Brückenstraße in the area between Straße der Nationen and Mühlenstraße and the Georgstraße in the area between Mühlenstraße and Promenadenstraße will be fully closed on Sunday, 5 May from 04:45 to 16:00 - due to the set-up and dismantling work required for the run.
Promenadenstraße will also be closed on the day of the event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the crossing area to Schloßsteich.
During the event, Mühlenstraße will be closed to through traffic from the Stadtbad to Georgstraße; local traffic will be guaranteed.
At other focal points of the running event, traffic will be controlled by the Chemnitz Police Headquarters. Visitors to the event and local residents are asked to pay attention and observe the signposted diversion recommendations and the signposted traffic information on possible traffic jams.
