Announcement by the City of Chemnitz on the confiscation of a section of a car park in accordance with Section 8 of the Road Act for the Free State of Saxony (SächsStrG)

1. Road description
A section of the restricted-public path, as shown in the cadastral register, sheet no. 1111, with the restriction that use is limited to pedestrians, on plot T.v. 113, in the Harthau district, over a length of 133 metres, starting from the southern boundary of plot 113, in the Harthau district, running in a north-easterly direction
and
a section of the public road ‘Spinnereiweg’, as listed in the register, sheet no. 741, on plot T.v. 94/2, Harthau district, over a length of 30 metres, starting at the Würschnitz (parcel boundary 300/3, Harthau district) in a northerly direction
2. Memorandum of Understanding
The sections of paths and roads specified in more detail under 1. are to be incorporated over a length of 163 m on the basis of Section 8 of the Saxon Roads Act (SächsStrG). In accordance with Section 8(5) of the Saxon Roads Act (SächsStrG), public use (Section 14 SächsStrG) and special use (Section 18 SächsStrG) shall cease upon the closure. The expropriation procedure is being carried out due to the removal of the bridge over the Würschnitz and the associated loss of its significance for all modes of transport.
3. Public inspection/notice
In accordance with Section 8(4) of the SächsStrG, the intention to reclaim the land is hereby publicly announced.
Objections may be lodged with the City of Chemnitz within three months. The cadastral map is available for inspection at the Technical Town Hall, Friedensplatz 1, Transport and Civil Engineering Office, subject to prior appointment by telephone on 488-7741. In addition, the site plan is available for viewing on the City of Chemnitz’s website at www.chemnitz.de/bekanntmachungen.
