Short description:
SV Chemnitz/Harthau e. V. is a non-profit, independent and volunteer-run sports club for athletes of all ages. It currently has around 300 members who regularly participate in the handball, volleyball and recreational sports departments.
The club emerged in 1990 from the "BSG Fortschritt Süd", which was founded in Altchemnitz/Harthau. Today it is active throughout the city of Chemnitz.
It organises various sports activities led by trainers for all interested parties, including children, young people and senior citizens. These include active ball sports leagues and recreational sports. ALL interested parties are welcome to try out one of the training sessions.
With its programme, the club contributes to the health of its members. It promotes a sense of community through intergenerational sporting activities and makes an effective contribution to personal development, tolerance, integration and social participation.
