It emerged from the youth initiative in.bewegung, a platform for young artists, whose idea of a competition for young literature based in Chemnitz was first realised in 2007, and which the association - together and in mutual inspiration - is constantly developing further.
The association supports impulses, ideas and projects that promote democracy and invites young authors to participate and actively shape cultural life in Chemnitz.
