OMWANA - Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Uganda e. V. is a non-profit organisation that offers children and young people in one of the poorest countries in the world prospects for the future and hope.
It promotes development co-operation, youth welfare and art and culture. Specifically, it currently supports a children's home in Uganda, provides sponsorship for children, promotes school education and supports the partner organisation's brass band with knowledge, expertise and donations.
It also improves the local living conditions through food and clothing donations, improved hygiene, medical care and much more. The organisation also works on long-term solutions for self-help and cultural exchange between Germany and Uganda.
It aims to raise awareness in Germany about the living situation in Uganda and to report on life here in Uganda.
