Short description:
Songs are "sung vividly" with gestures, facial expressions and body language. The basis is German sign language. The music is recorded via playback or live via a choir, band or orchestra.
Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people are addressed equally, the sign language choir is based on the co-operation of these people - it is about mutual understanding.
Public performances are used to raise awareness of sign language and hearing impairment. Communication takes place in German sign language, taking into account the respective knowledge of the choir members.
Rehearsals take place once a week (2 hours each), with two rehearsals a week also necessary before major performances.
The repertoire consists mainly of current titles, and performances take place without "sheet music".
Offers:
- Unusual emotional connection of text/music through gestures, facial expressions and body language

- Opportunity to actively participate in the choir and club work
