The association is looking for its members in the circle of people interested in music who like to use the corresponding offers of the Kreuzkirche Chemnitz and are willing to help through membership fees and/or cooperation that musical offers can continue to be offered in the best quality and to the same extent at moderate prices.
§1 - Purpose of the association (statutes)
The purpose of the Kreuz-Kirche Musik Association is the promotion of music and cultural projects in and through the Kreuzkirche in Chemnitz within the scope of the association's possibilities, in particular the promotion of
- the performance of works by great masters of the past and present,
- experimental projects, also in connection with other genres,
- the interaction between music and space,
- the optimisation of the acoustic and spatial conditions in the Kreuzkirche for the realisation of these projects,
- the development of young talent for the choirs and instrumental groups of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of St Pauli-Kreuz in Chemnitz
The support is thus focussed on the concerts of the choir, chamber choir, Kurrende and trombone choir and on the spatial conditions for church music.
The members and in particular the board work on a voluntary basis, i.e. no expenses are reimbursed to the members. Office materials etc. are financed from membership fees.
Donations are used 100% for charitable purposes.

- New Year's concerts in 2014, 2015 and 2016 - Chemnitz Lions benefit concert for young musicians, to be continued in 2017
- Acquisition of a chest organ for the performance of large concerts
