Short description:
The history of the club dates back to 1998, when floorball was popularised in a department within the SG Adelsberg in Chemnitz. Since 2009, the club has stood on its own two feet and is led by a team that is just as young and dynamic as floorball itself.
With the flagship men's team in the 1st Floorball Bundesliga, the Floor Fighters represent the city of Chemnitz both locally and nationally. A broad-based and extremely successful youth department, with teams in the age groups U7, U9, U11, U13 (German champion 2015), U15 (German champion 2012) and U17 (German champion 2016, German runner-up 2014, 2015), provides the necessary foundation and at the same time offers numerous children and young people the opportunity for meaningful leisure activities.
