Short description:
Since 1990, the Chemnitz Environmental Centre has been located on the Kaßberg at Henriettenstraße 5, 09112 Chemnitz. During the period of German reunification, the former Stasi building was handed over to environmental, peace and human rights initiatives following a decision by the Round Table.
Today, various associations and initiatives have their offices and event spaces here, including, for example, the Verkehrsclub Deutschland, the Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrradclub, Amnesty International, the RAA victim support service and the Saxon Refugee Council.
