Short description:
The ski club, which has existed in Einsiedel since 1925, focuses on children and young people. In winter, skiing is possible on the "Pappel" cross-country ski trails or the Einsiedel ski slope. The main focus in the Nordic area is on junior training. The training group comprises around 30 athletes. The varied year-round training programme is not only a lot of fun, but also produces talented youngsters who are also successful at national level. The alpine department offers alpine race training from pre-school age. The aim is to prepare children for participation in regional and national skiing competitions in cross-country, slalom and giant slalom. The focus is on popular sports. The snow training on the ski slope in Einsiedel is supplemented by inline skating and bike training in summer, ski jump training on the house ski jump in autumn and accompanying athletics training during the entire snow-free period.
