Short description:
The different people e.V. sees itself as a meeting, counselling and educational offer for all people living as homosexual, a-, bi-, pansexual (-romantic), trans*, intersex, non-binary and queer people, their relatives and all interested parties.
The association is a recognised independent youth welfare organisation in Saxony. It promotes diversity and democracy education. And not only in Chemnitz, but also in the regions of Chemnitz, Erzgebirge, Central Saxony, Zwickauer Land and Vogtland.
Offers:
- Open groups (e.g. for trans* people, relatives, young queer people)
- Counselling on all questions relating to queerness and support with coming out, bullying or discrimination
- Educational projects with pupils (aged 14 and over) and professionals (e.g. teachers, carers)
