The CPSV was founded by police officers on 16 August 1920. This is where its name comes from, otherwise the club has very little to do with the police.
It is one of the largest clubs in Chemnitz and is mainly dedicated to popular, children's and youth sports. At the CPSV, you pay one membership fee and can visit as many sections as you like.
