The Chemnitzer Eislauf-Club e.V., founded on 26 January 1998 as the legitimate successor to the figure skating department of the Sportclub Karl-Marx-Stadt, sees it as its duty and responsibility to continue its excellent work and outstanding successes and, if possible, to repeat them.
The Chemnitzer Eislauf-Club e.V. fosters all branches of figure skating. Athletes from our club are represented at national and international competitions in single skating (women and men; girls and boys), pairs skating, ice dancing and synchronised figure skating.
Since 2004, the Chemnitzer Eislauf-Club e.V. has also been involved in curling and in 2010 this youngest section of the CEC was expanded to include wheelchair curling.
