Spontaneous applications for 2022 still possible until 15.11.2022
Information on the application deadlines 30 June and 1 September 2022 for projects in 2023
project in 2022:
The City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation has announced that funding is still available for spontaneous projects in the current year 2022. Corresponding applications can be submitted to the Kulturbetrieb/Cultural Management, Cultural Strategy department until 15 November 2022. It is possible to apply online via the amt24.sachsen.de portal for small projects with a maximum application amount of €2,000. Project applications over € 2,000 are sent to the cultural organisation using the form.
Project in 2023:
For 2023, applications for institutional funding and project funding over € 3,500 must be submitted to the Kulturbetrieb by 30 June 2022. For planned projects in 2023 with an application amount of up to €3,500, applications can still be submitted by 1 September 2022 at the latest.
Information on investment funding projects in 2023:
The Free State of Saxony is once again providing investment reinforcement funds and additional investment funds forcultural institutions of regional importance to reduce the renovation and investment backlog in the cultural sector. The prerequisite for funding is that the measure costs at least €5,000. The projects can be applied for until 30 June 2022 in the cultural sector using the form.

The Cultural Management, Cultural Strategy department of the City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation, based at TIETZ, Moritzstraße 20, 09111 Chemnitz, provides advice on issues relating to the promotion of art and culture, the promotion of socio-cultural activities and investment measures. For a personal consultation, an appointment must be made in advance, which can be booked at kulturmanagement(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
The Cultural Advisory Board of the City of Chemnitz discusses the allocation of funding. The Cultural Committee makes the final decision on the allocation of funding on the basis of the funds available.
