First equality action plan of the city of Chemnitz

With the development of the first action plan for the implementation of the "European Charter for Equality between Women and Men at Local Level", the city council, the administration and the specialised public have jointly taken a major step towards greater equality. In doing so, they accepted the invitation of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions to formally and publicly commit to the principle of equality between women and men and to implementing the measures set out in this action plan.
