Three years after the completion of the Cultural Development Plan of the City of Chemnitz 2004 - 2012, it is now time to take stock. The primary concern is not only to highlight and evaluate what has been achieved so far, but also to analyse implementation processes that have been started but not yet completed and to make any necessary readjustments.

Three years after the completion of the Cultural Development Plan of the City of Chemnitz 2004 - 2012, it is now time to take stock. The primary concern is not only to highlight and evaluate what has been achieved so far, but also to analyse implementation processes that have been started but not yet completed and to make any necessary readjustments. An important concern here is to continue the discussion process between citizens interested in culture, representatives of cultural institutions and initiatives as well as politicians and administrators, which was initiated as part of the cultural development planning process.
