What do a waste management company, a T-shirt in good condition and a book you’ve finished reading have in common? They can become part of a new story when the municipal waste advisory service and the ASR trainees organise a clothes and book swap on the company premises on 26 September, from 10 am to 3 pm. The idea behind it is simple: anything that is passed on and reused doesn’t have to be thrown away. So simply pack up those well-preserved jeans, the children’s jumper that’s become too small or that gripping crime novel, and head along to ‘TauschZeit’. Not only does this help us work together towards greater sustainability, but swapping instead of buying also goes a long way towards saving money.
With this event, ASR is setting an example for the careful use of resources, minimising waste wherever possible and keeping items in circulation for longer.
TauschZeit: ASR Chemnitz, Blankenburgstraße 64, 26 September 2026, 10.00–15.00
