The outdoor swimming season is being extended; indoor swimming pools will open from 31 August

At the Gablenz and Bernsdorf outdoor swimming pools, the outdoor swimming season has been extended until Sunday 6 September due to the favourable weather forecast.

The two outdoor swimming pools are open as follows:

Monday to Friday11.00 am to 6.00 pm
Saturday/Sunday10 am to 6 pm

Opening times are subject to change due to weather conditions.

The season at the Einsiedel outdoor pool ended on 23 August, whilst the Wittgensdorf outdoor pool remains open until 30 August.


Indoor swimming pools

The 50-metre pool at the Chemnitz municipal swimming pool has been open again since Monday, although the sauna will remain closed until 13 September due to maintenance and repair work.

The Bernsdorf swimming pool, as well as the Gablenz and ‘Am Südring’ indoor swimming pools, will reopen as normal from 31 August with the following opening hours.
