At the Chemnitz City Customs Auction under the heading ‘Bicycles & Accessories’. Users can view the found bicycles and, if they wish, try their luck at bidding. The items on offer can only be viewed via the website address provided. It is not possible to view the items in person during the auction.
The auctions end on 21 June between 5 pm and 5.30 pm.
Bidders should not expect the items to be in new condition. The bicycles are described in detail, any defects are explicitly noted, and clear photographs are provided. In many cases, minor or even major repairs are required.
As is always the case with lost property auctions: items are sold ‘as seen’ (in the photos); no warranty is provided and no exchanges are possible. Collection of the auctioned bicycles is by appointment only. To this end, the municipal lost property office will contact the highest bidder after the auction has ended. The amount must be paid by bank transfer prior to collection.
Please note that registration with Zoll-Auktion is required before participating. The online platform also offers the option to add items to a watchlist, so you can track the current bid price for the item you want and see how many bidders are involved.
