One Health Days in South-West Saxony: Thinking ahead together on health

What will the healthcare region of the future look like? From 2 to 4 November 2026, the One Health Days will bring together research and implementation, regional strengths and global challenges for the future, scientific rigour and practical application.

The focus is on interdisciplinary perspectives on health – ranging from human and veterinary health, through the environment, climate and public health, to data and technology. These events are organised by the C:HUB One Health Cluster South-West Saxony in collaboration with the Centre for Sustainable Animal Husbandry, the WIR! DIANA Alliance, Fraunhofer ENAS and Fraunhofer IWU, with support from biosaxony and leap:up.

2 November, designated as ‘Research Day’, will be dedicated to scientific findings and current research questions. On 3 November, the ‘Hands-on @ Fraunhofer’ user day will offer practical insights, concrete examples of application and opportunities for collaboration.

The event concludes on 4 November with the 10th Saxony Life Sciences Forum organised by Saxony Economic Development Corporation. Under the motto ‘From Industrial Expertise to HealthTech Innovation’, the forum will demonstrate how expertise in mechanical engineering, automation, sensor technology, image processing, micro-production and digitalisation can give rise to new healthcare solutions.
