Mayors for Peace: Children’s Art Competition Extended

Children and young people can submit their drawings until 16 October

Children and young people have until Friday 16 October to take part in the art competition organised by the Mayors for Peace network. Girls and boys aged between 6 and 15 are invited to explore the theme of peace and submit their own artwork for this year’s competition, ‘Peaceful Towns – What Peace Means to Me’.

Entries can be handed in at Chemnitz Town Hall up to and including 16 October, or sent to the following address: City of Chemnitz, Department 09.1 (European and International Relations, Protocol), Markt 1, 09111 Chemnitz.

Mayors for Peace is an international network of cities committed to the abolition of nuclear weapons and lasting, global peace. The City of Chemnitz has been a member of Mayors for Peace since 2006.
