There are plans to construct a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant on the agricultural land on either side of the former upper railway station in Wittgensdorf. The plant is intended to contribute to the expansion of renewable energy and to a sustainable, climate-friendly energy supply. The planning permission process will take into account environmental, nature and landscape considerations.
At the event, residents will have the opportunity to find out about the project at an early stage and will thus be involved in further discussions. They can ask questions, provide feedback and discuss their concerns directly with the relevant specialist departments.
Residents will receive information about the project, the current stage of planning and the next steps. In addition, information will be provided on the potential impacts of the project on the environment, nature and the landscape.
Representatives from the Building Control and Surveying Office, the Transport and Civil Engineering Office and the Environment Office of the City of Chemnitz, as well as representatives from the utility company eins energie, will provide information and be available to answer questions.
